  • Why aren’t Funkee Foods products not in supermarkets yet and when will they be?
    We have contacted and spoken with many retailers, sent emails, given out samples but haven’t heard anything back yet. However, we will be sure to keep you updated!
  • How long do the sauces last in the fridge for?
    Funkee Foods sauces last up to 3 months in the fridge (that’s if it lasts that long)
  • Can the sauces be stored in cupboards even before I open it?
    No, as it is a sauce that is made with all natural preservatives and no added colouring, and therefore must be kept in the fridge before and after opening.
  • Do the sauces contain nuts?
    No, but it does contain cloves. Refer to the allergen list on the bottles.
  • What can I use the sauces and chilli oils on?
    Our products can be used for your breakfast, lunch and dinner. However, our products are designed in a way that minimises the amount of seasonings needed on your food as it instantly flavours any flavourless meal!
  • Where can I find Funkee Foods apart from ordering online?
    Farmer’s markets, events and food festivals. Follow us on Instagram for updates on where our next markets will be!
  • How did you come up with all these flavours and manage to make them taste so good?
    I did catering for over 15 years. Prior to that, my mum had a restaurant back in West Africa that I helped out throughout most of my teenage years. This is where most of my catering ideas came from, which is how I managed to gain the experience that I have today to run this successful, tasty food business.
